Asian fruit is grown for its fruit commercially in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Tree 3-5 meters high requires no special soil but prefers moist, fertile, flowers are white or pink and fragrant, 2-5 cm wide.
The fruit is eaten fresh is very refreshing and juicy, with a spongy texture that gives a taste exotic and different.
The tree is also ornamental beauty, especially in flowering and fruiting.
