Grafted mango tree variety Lancetilla Honduras
Lancetilla Honduras is a selection made famous by the Dr. Richard Campbell. His presentation at the 2001 International Mango Festival of Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens, created a sensation in South Florida. His immediate acceptance by homeowners can be attributed to the tree's ability to stay in just a few meters high. The flesh is firm, sweet and not entirely without fibers. The fruit ripens from mid-August to September, its weight can easily exceed one kilo.
